Okay so I want to know who thinks what is better, but argue your statement, and challenge other peoples opinions, after all it is a debate. Mainly This is to debate about what chat/blog type websites are best to you. You might have something different from Facebook, Myspace, or Twitter, so talk about it instead. I guess I can start I have a Facebook, and like it. My friends and I can stay in touch when out of school, plus it's little games it offers. On the other hand I tried making a Myspace, and once there found everything confusing and what not xP And twitter had all my names I wanted takes, plus I heard it's very addicting, which I can't do if I have a lot of homework and what not.

I don't support anything of the sort. My limit is proboards and e-mails. It's too wild, shallow, and fast moving. Oh, lets not forget the drama. I don't particularly care for the kind of site that keeps going and full of casual talk. You can hardly talk about anything intellectual there. I've never seen a truly intellectual individual on one of these sites. Twitter, is another story. I don't care to shout random things. I know a few intellectuals on that, but... well, no. I don't want to here about them every moment of their life. You could hardly talk about anything, according to what I've heard it's random and chaotic. I want a real chat about serious things that concerns us all.
I've been on a site sort of like myspace, except it was only for the blind, and I didn't like it much. I also looked around on facebook, and it looked kinda silly. I've also seen some stuff on myspace, and it didn't appeal either.
If the conversations can be more intellectual on any of these sites, perhaps.

Hmm, I'm not much of one for "serious" on the computer. But I will argue my point to defend Facebook!
Facebook was originally made for college students to keep up with homework assignments sent out by teachers, then slowly formed to a place to hang out., It's not much of a post random things, but just to tell your friends. "I had a good day, lots of homework with English though!" etc etc. I know there are places to have serious chats, but keeping your friends up to date is good too.
Another point about facebook is it connects long lost friends. I know my mom recently joined and met up with about twenty friends from college. So if you have one now, even if friends are in some other state, you can chat without having to be on the phone or giving quick replies. Just enjoy long term conversations. But that's how I see it *shrugs*

I am a bit more goofy on the computer, but I definitely love an intellectual conversation, that's even better. See, I am not much in to updating my friends about my day, they call me and ask if they really want to know, or since we are all on proboards, they can ask me there. Well, at least the ones that wants to. I have a few serious friends that want nothing but e-mails and a few informative sites, and those friends, care less about my day, unless we are together, that is, and certainly don't want to know about any others either.
Lost friends, and friends across other states, you can use e-mails and proboards just as well, and that's what I use. I don't like the casual useless things. I am really more a serious person. It sort of surprises me that I can handle here, really. And, I guess... that's why my board is dying *go hides and mope*

I don't think I can really have much of an opinion on this, because I've only ever used one of these sites. But I'll add to the discussion anyway...
I've only ever used Myspace, but I've never had any real complaints about it. Then again, I don't usually do much other then responding to messages and comments. However, the few applications and stuff I've used are fine, and I find that Myspace has a relatively user friendly interface and navigation system.

from what I've heard, facebook is more accessible for screen reading software.
